207 Amaro Locale is an Italian amaro brand developed by Pernod Ricard Italia with the aim of reinterpreting traditional Italian amaro through a contemporary approach and a strong emphasis on regional ingredients. The name “207” originates from the historical story of the 207 saffron bulbs that the Dominican friar Domenico Santucci brought from Spain to the area of L’Aquila, laying the foundations for the cultivation of the renowned Zafferano dell’Aquila DOP saffron.
