Crème de Châtaigne d’Ardèche is a French chestnut cream liqueur from Ælred. It is made with chestnut extract from the Ardèche region and has an alcohol content of 16%.

Its ingredients are water, sugar, alcohol, chestnut flavouring, Ardèche chestnut extract, concentrated fruit juice and caramel for colour.

The liqueur is brown, with an aroma of caramelised chestnuts. It can be enjoyed on its own, used in cocktails or added to dishes. For a simple aperitif, combine 2 cl of liqueur with 8 cl of white wine.
