Olive Oils

Oliva Grossa is an extra virgin olive oil produced from the Oliva Grossa variety, originally from Puglia but cultivated in the Abruzzo region, in the town of Vasto. This oil is monovarietal, meaning it is made exclusively from a single olive variety, preserving the specific character and quality of the fruit.

The oil features an intense golden-yellow color with greenish hues. Its aromatic profile includes notes of fresh legumes, such as peas and beans, with subtle hints of fresh banana and aromatic herbs.

On the palate, it is rich and harmonious, with pronounced spiciness and mild bitterness, making it ideal for use in salads, vegetable dishes, fresh bread, roasted fish, and white meat.

Producer

Agricola la Selvotta is a family-run agricultural company located in Abruzzo, near Vasto, on the Adriatic coast. The company spans the areas of Selvotta, Buonanotte, Colle Pizzuto, and Montevecchio, and for three generations has been producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil, wine, and other authentic products. Agricola la Selvotta, they adhere to the principles of a short production chain: from olive cultivation, through harvesting, to cold extraction in their own mill, all within 6–12 hours of picking.

This approach ensures the preservation of freshness, aroma, and the nutritional value of the fruits.
