Al Samadi Sweets is a producer of traditional Arabic confectionery headquartered in Dubai. The brand’s history began in Beirut in 1872, when the foundations of its Lebanese confectionery tradition were established. In 1983, the business was acquired by Abduljaleel Abdulrahman Alblooki, after which the brand continued its development in the United Arab Emirates. Production is currently based in the Al Qusais industrial district of Dubai. The range primarily focuses on sweets associated with Lebanon and the wider Levant region. It includes different varieties of baklava, maamoul, kunafa, and other products made with layered or shredded pastry. Common ingredients include pistachios, cashews, dairy-based fillings, clarified butter, and sugar syrup. Baklava is produced in various shapes and with several types of nut filling. The selection also includes sfouf, halawet el jibn, karabij, petits fours, cakes, and croissants.
