Al-Suwaihi Honey

Dorm Honey

4.5 ·

Al-Suwaihi Dorm Honey is a Saudi monofloral honey produced from the nectar of the dharm plant (Arabic: الضرم), a wild aromatic mountain shrub locally associated with wild lavender. It is harvested in southwestern Saudi Arabia, where the plant grows on mountain slopes and flowers for a limited period each year.

The honey comes from Al-Suwaihi Honey’s own mobile apiaries, which are moved to natural areas rich in dharm during the flowering season. The producer describes it as raw, unpasteurized, and free from additives or artificial ingredients. After extraction, the honey undergoes laboratory testing to verify its quality, purity, and compliance with relevant standards.

Dorm Honey has a golden-to-dark-amber color, dense texture, and pronounced botanical aroma with distinctive floral and mildly herbal notes. It can be enjoyed on its own, used as a natural sweetener, or served with tea, bread, cheese, yogurt, and nuts.
