Alta Alella is a family-run wine project founded in 1991 by oenologist Josep Maria Pujol-Busquets and his wife Cristina Guillén, located just 10 km from Barcelona. The vineyards stretch across elevations ranging from 100 to 250 meters above sea level, on the prized granitic-limestone soil known locally as sauló, which provides excellent drainage and contributes to the grapes’ natural acidity.
