Mangrove Honey is a natural mangrove honey produced by the Saudi brand Amir Al-Nahl, originating from the coastal areas of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. It is produced along the Arabian Gulf coast, where bees collect nectar from mangrove blossoms, locally known as qurm. Due to the mangrove’s limited coastal habitat and short flowering period, this is one of the rarer honey varieties in the producer’s range.

The honey comes from the brand’s own apiaries, with beehives seasonally placed near mangrove areas around Qatif, including Saihat, Tarout, and Safwa. It is harvested at the appropriate stage of maturity and extracted using traditional methods, without additives or chemical processing, to preserve its natural properties. The producer describes it as raw and unpasteurized honey, meaning that it may naturally crystallize during storage without affecting its quality.

Amir Al-Nahl Mangrove Honey has a rich, distinctive flavor that reflects the characteristic coastal vegetation of the Arabian Gulf. It can be enjoyed on its own, added to warm beverages once they have cooled slightly, or served with cheese, pastries, and desserts.
