Bio-Alpenblumenkäse is an organic semi-hard alpine cheese produced by Andechser Molkerei Scheitz from certified organic cow’s milk. The cheese is matured under controlled conditions and regularly treated on the rind with a blend of alpine flowers, herbs and natural cultures, which gives it its characteristic appearance and aromatic depth.

Its flavor profile is balanced and rounded, combining gentle spiciness with mild sweetness and subtle floral and herbal notes typical of alpine pasture cheeses. The texture is firm yet creamy and smooth, becoming more supple as the cheese matures.

Microbial rennet is used in production, making it suitable for vegetarians, and the cheese is naturally lactose-free. The rind is edible and contributes to the overall sensory experience.

Bio-Alpenblumenkäse is well suited for cheese boards, sandwiches and warm dishes, but also works well simply served with bread, nuts or mild fruit.
