Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP Sgusciato are whole, shelled green pistachios from Antonino Caudullo in Bronte, Sicily. They carry the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and are grown in volcanic soil on the slopes of Mount Etna, where pistachios are traditionally harvested by hand every other year.

The product contains 100% green pistachios from Bronte from the latest harvest. The hard shells are removed, leaving the thin, purple-streaked skins intact. The kernels are emerald green, with a pronounced aroma and natural sweetness.

The kernels can be enjoyed whole as a snack, roughly chopped and sprinkled over cakes or gelato, or ground to make pesto.
