Aguardente de Medronho "Castelo de Silves" is a traditional Portuguese brandy produced through the distillation of medronho berries (Arbutus unedo), commonly known as the strawberry tree fruit. This beverage is a specialty of the Algarve region, where medronho grows abundantly.
