Raw Yemeni Sidr Do’ani Honey by Balqees is a raw monofloral honey originating from Wadi Do’an in the Hadramout region of Yemen. It is produced from the nectar of Sidr tree blossoms growing in the area’s dry and mountainous landscape. The honey is harvested seasonally using traditional beekeeping methods and sourced by Balqees directly from local beekeepers. It is neither heated nor microfiltered and contains no added sugar syrups or other ingredients. The honey ranges from medium-dark to dark amber and has a thick, smooth, and viscous consistency. Its flavour is intensely sweet and aromatic, with pronounced caramel and butterscotch notes. Individual batches are traceable, while the company also publishes laboratory results verifying the honey’s authenticity. The limited flowering period of Sidr trees and the geographical conditions of Wadi Do’an restrict the quantity available from each harvest.
