Etna Bianco Contrada Villagrande from Barone di Villagrande is a high-altitude Etna Bianco made primarily from Carricante, sourced from vineyards located in the Villagrande area near Milo on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. The wine reflects the volcanic terroir and cooler microclimate of this zone, resulting in a precise and mineral-driven style.

It shows a pale straw color, with an aromatic profile marked by citrus zest, green apple, white peach, and herbal notes, alongside a distinct smoky and saline character. On the palate, it is dry, linear, and vibrant, with high acidity that provides structure and aging potential.

The texture is refined and focused, with a clear mineral backbone derived from the lava-rich soils. The finish is long and persistent, combining citrus, subtle bitterness, and a stony, volcanic edge.
