Fungo di Borgotaro IGP Secco are dried porcini mushrooms produced by the Italian company Borgolab under its Funghi&Funghi brand. They carry the Fungo di Borgotaro IGP protected geographical indication, linking them to a designated area of the Apennines in the provinces of Parma and Massa-Carrara, across Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany.
They are made from wild porcini mushrooms, selected by experienced staff at Borgolab’s authorized collection centre and then dried. Suitable for risottos, pasta dishes, main courses, and side dishes, they impart the distinctive aroma of porcini.
