Boter is an Istanbul-based bakery, patisserie and café founded in September 2019 on Rüştiye Street, near Kalamış Park. The brand’s name means butter in Dutch, referring to one of the principal ingredients used in its baked goods and pastries. Its range includes freshly prepared baked goods, cakes, chocolates, jams, breakfasts, snacks and coffee-based drinks. The products are made at the company’s own production facility according to its original recipes. Boter states that it prepares sauces and other drink ingredients in its own kitchen instead of using ready-made syrups and flavorings. The menu changes according to the seasonal availability of ingredients. The business expanded in spring 2024 with the opening of a second location in Istanbul’s Caddebostan neighborhood. In addition to selling products at its own locations, the company supplies other cafés and restaurants. Part of its range, including jams, chocolates, snacks and gift boxes, is also available online.
