Bulas Vintage Port is a concentrated and powerful fortified wine made from traditional Douro varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, which at full ripeness provide deep color, an intense aromatic profile and firm structure. Fermentation takes place in lagares with classic foot-treading and is halted by adding grape spirit, giving the wine its characteristic sweetness and pronounced richness.

The aroma is dominated by dark plum, blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by notes of cocoa, chocolate and a subtle resinous touch. On the palate it is full, dense and robust, with lively freshness, strong youthful tannins and a long finish marked by ripe dark fruit.

While already impressive when young, it has excellent aging potential, developing greater complexity over time. It pairs particularly well with aged cheeses, dark chocolate and desserts featuring red or black fruits.
