Camelicious is an Emirati brand specializing in camel milk and food products made from it. It belongs to Emirates Industry for Camel Milk & Products, whose headquarters and production complex are located in Dubai. The company developed from research into camel milking and milk processing initiated by the Central Veterinary Research Laboratory in 1998. Emirates Industry for Camel Milk & Products was established in 2003, while its modern dairy production facility was completed in 2005. The first products under the Camelicious name entered the United Arab Emirates market in 2006. The company combines the traditional consumption of camel milk on the Arabian Peninsula with modern milking, processing, and food safety procedures. Its farm is home to approximately 7,000 camels, and all milk used in production comes exclusively from its own herds. This allows the company to control the entire process, from breeding and milking to processing, packaging, and distribution. The production complex processes approximately three million liters of camel milk annually. The range includes more than 60 products across around ten categories. These include fresh and long-life milk, flavored milk drinks, milk powder, ice cream, ghee, milk tablets, protein bars, coffee with milk, and camel milk chocolate. In addition to supplying the domestic market, the company has developed production that meets the requirements for exporting camel milk and its derivatives.
