Carbone Fine Food is an American food brand specializing in premium pasta sauces and other products inspired by Italian-American cuisine. Developed as the retail extension of the renowned Carbone restaurant in New York City, the brand was created by chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi together with Jeff Zalaznick of Major Food Group. Its product range includes tomato-based pasta sauces, Alfredo sauces, pizza sauces, and simmer sauces for meat dishes. The recipes are based on those served at the Carbone restaurants and are adapted for home cooking. The sauces are manufactured in the United States using imported Italian tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, hand-stripped basil, and other carefully selected ingredients. Slow cooking in small batches is used to achieve the characteristic flavor and texture of the sauces. Today, Carbone Fine Food products are distributed throughout the United States via retail stores and online sales.
