La Castagna Leopoldina is an Italian farm based in San Quirico di Sorano, in Tuscany’s Maremma region, on the slopes of Monte Amiata. Francesca Gioacchini started the project in 2014, when she began restoring her family’s chestnut grove and developing chestnut cultivation and processing on the farm.
