Alba Ceylon Cinnamon Sticks are Ceylon cinnamon quills from Cenica, a brand based in Sri Lanka, which can also be used to prepare an aromatic infusion. Alba denotes the highest grade of Ceylon cinnamon, distinguished by its exceptionally thin bark and fine, slender quills.

They are made from the thin inner bark of carefully selected trees, traditionally processed by hand and shaped into multilayered quills. The cinnamon comes from Cenica’s own plantation in Kitulgala, in the Kelani River valley. Alba-grade quills measure approximately 6–7 millimetres in diameter and have a light golden-brown colour. Production is limited because of the exacting selection of suitable bark.

They offer a delicate, sweet flavour with citrus notes, accompanied by the complex aroma and subtle floral nuances that the producer associates with its Ceylon cinnamon. The sticks can be used to prepare cinnamon infusions, flavour tea, milk, and other hot drinks, or enhance desserts, rice dishes, and curries.
