001 Pure Series Rum is the flagship rum of Chalong Bay Distillery and represents the purest expression of its approach to agricole-style rum production. It is made from 100% fresh-pressed Thai sugarcane juice, without the addition of sugar, flavorings, colorings, or other additives.

The sugarcane is sourced from local growers and harvested by hand before being processed immediately to preserve its freshness and authentic character. Distillation takes place in a traditional French copper pot still, after which the rum is rested for a minimum of eight months before bottling.

The aromatic profile features fresh sugarcane, coconut milk, citrus, and tropical fruit notes, while the palate reveals hints of pear, peach, vanilla, white pepper, and delicate spices. Its style is clean, fresh, and elegant, with pronounced fruitiness and a long, balanced finish.

As one of the relatively few rums in the world produced entirely from fresh sugarcane juice, 001 Pure Series reflects both the terroir of Thailand and Chalong Bay’s commitment to sustainable production practices.
