Mtsvane Qvevri Reserve from Château Buera is a dry amber wine made from the indigenous Mtsvane Kakhuri grape grown in the Napareuli microzone of Kakheti. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in traditional qvevri with extended skin contact for several months, followed by additional aging in French oak barrels and further bottle maturation, contributing to its depth and structure.

The wine shows a deep amber color with orange hues and a complex aromatic profile featuring quince, dried orange peel, honey, herbal notes, black tea, and subtle smoky nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and textured, with present but refined tannins, balanced by fresh acidity that maintains clarity and drinkability.

The extended maceration gives the wine a firm structure more commonly associated with red wines, while still preserving the varietal character of Mtsvane. The finish is long, layered, and slightly savory, with a persistent mineral edge.

Produced in limited quantities, it also demonstrates good aging potential and benefits from decanting before serving. This wine clearly reflects the combination of traditional qvevri techniques and a more structured, reserve-style approach to Georgian white wines.
