Château de Haute-Serre is a historic winery located in the Cahors appellation in southwest France, with origins dating back to the Middle Ages when the estate was owned by the Abbey of Lagarde-Dieu and played an important role in the region’s early wine production. Following the phylloxera crisis in the late 19th century, the vineyards were abandoned, and the estate remained dormant for decades.
