Château de Saint Cosme Côte-Rôtie is a wine that reflects the estate’s terroir-driven philosophy and precision, sourced from carefully selected parcels within the Côte-Rôtie appellation in the Northern Rhône Valley. It is produced predominantly from Syrah, with a small proportion of Viognier in keeping with local tradition, enhancing aromatic lift and finesse.

The vineyards lie on steep slopes with schist and granite soils, which contribute structure, mineral tension, and depth. Vinification is carried out using native yeasts, with gentle extraction and minimal intervention to preserve the expression of place.

Ageing takes place in French oak barrels, mostly older barrels, ensuring that oak supports rather than dominates the wine. Aromatically, the wine shows dark berry fruit, violet, pepper, and subtle smoky notes.
