Châteauneuf-du-Pape Closerie de Vaudieu Rouge is a selected cuvée from Château de Vaudieu, produced from carefully chosen parcels within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The wine is primarily based on Grenache, complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre, creating a balance of power, aromatic complexity, and structure.

The vineyards are rooted in classic soils of galets roulés, sand, and limestone, which promote full ripeness while preserving freshness. Vinification is precise and restrained, with gentle extraction to highlight purity of fruit and terroir expression.

Ageing takes place in a combination of concrete vats and oak barrels, with oak used in moderation. Aromatically, the wine reveals ripe dark fruit, spicy notes, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle earthy nuances.

On the palate, it is full-bodied yet balanced, with ripe tannins, solid structure, and a long, persistent finish.
