Château Lafleur from the Pomerol appellation belongs to the small circle of the most prestigious and rare Bordeaux wines, renowned for being produced on one of the smallest yet most distinctive parcels in the region. The estate covers barely 4.5 hectares, and the soil composition - a mix of gravel, sand, and clay - allows for exceptional precision and aromatic depth in the Merlot and Cabernet Franc that make up the cuvée.

Unlike many of its neighbors, Lafleur relies on an almost equal proportion of these two varieties, resulting in wines of remarkable structure, finesse, and longevity. The style is known for its quiet power, with complexity developing gradually: youthful expressions bring concentrated red and black fruit, graphite, and floral notes, while age reveals layers of tobacco, spice, and earthy nuances.

Fermentation follows traditional methods with minimal intervention, preserving the authentic character of each vintage. Production is extremely limited, making the wines rare on the market and highly sought after by collectors.

Château Lafleur consistently shows the capacity for decades of aging, with the best vintages achieving legendary status thanks to their exceptional harmony and depth.
