Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Pauillac Grand Cru Classé is one of the most refined wines of the Pauillac appellation, produced by Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, classified as a Deuxième Cru Classé in 1855. Unlike the typically robust Pauillac style, this wine stands out for its elegance and the relatively higher proportion of Merlot in the blend, alongside dominant Cabernet Sauvignon and smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The grapes come from gravel-rich vineyards near the Gironde estuary, which supports optimal ripening and complexity. Winemaking is precise and parcel-based, with strict selection, followed by aging in oak barrels with a significant proportion of new wood.

Aromatically, it reveals blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum, layered with violet, cedar, tobacco, and fine spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet exceptionally balanced, with more polished, silky tannins compared to classic Pauillac wines.
