Cibilić Postup is a dry red wine made from 100% Plavac Mali grapes, sourced from the vineyards of Cibilić Winery located within the Postup appellation on the Pelješac peninsula. It features a deep ruby color with purple reflections and represents a modern expression of Postup - showcasing fresher tannins and a harmonious structure, with a high level of extract and alcohol content around 14-15%.
The nose reveals aromas of sour cherry, plum, subtle spice, earthy undertones, and a delicate hint of chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich in extract, yet marked by restrained tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, layered finish - resulting from early harvesting that preserves freshness, a hallmark of the modern Postup style.
This wine stands out as an authentic and high-quality interpretation of the local terroir - ideal for pairing with roasted lamb, beef, game, or rich seafood dishes like tuna and salmon, as well as with aged cheeses.
