Cocchi is an Italian producer of aromatized wines, vermouths, aperitifs, and sparkling wines based in Asti, in the Piedmont region. The company was founded in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi, a pastry chef from Tuscany who moved to Asti and devoted himself to producing wines infused with aromatic herbs and spices. The original recipes developed by the founder continue to form the basis of production today, with a strong emphasis on wines from Piedmont and carefully selected botanicals. Since 1978, Cocchi has been owned by the Bava family, who have modernized production while preserving the company's historic recipes and traditional character. Thanks to its continuous production, rich heritage, and commitment to quality, Cocchi has been included in the Italian National Register of Historic Companies and today exports its products to markets around the world.
