Cooperativa Produttori Latte e Fontina was founded in 1957 in the Aosta Valley region of Italy, with the aim of preserving and promoting the traditional production of Fontina DOP cheese. Today, the cooperative brings together around 200 members, including private farms, cooperatives, and alpine dairies, which collectively produce approximately 250,000 wheels of this renowned cheese annually.
