Domaine Armand Rousseau stands as one of Burgundy’s most esteemed and influential wineries, located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin. The family story began in the early 20th century when Armand Rousseau inherited his first vineyard parcels and devoted himself entirely to winemaking.

His vision was clear – to honor the authentic Burgundian terroir and bottle wines under his own name, a rarity at the time. Over the decades, the estate expanded its holdings and today covers around 15 hectares, including prestigious Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards such as Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Clos de la Roche, and the legendary Clos Saint-Jacques. The production focuses exclusively on Pinot Noir, with an uncompromising dedication to quality – from meticulously tended old vines to precise use of French oak. Domaine Armand Rousseau wines are celebrated for their elegance, complexity, and remarkable aging potential.

With a relatively small annual production, almost the entire output is exported, and the estate’s labels command the highest scores and prices on the global market. Thanks to its tradition, consistency, and impeccable style, Domaine Armand Rousseau holds a place among the greatest names in the world of fine wine.
