Wösendorf Alte Reben Smaragd Weissburgunder is one of the most distinctive wines in the Domäne Roland Chan portfolio, produced from old Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) vines grown in Wösendorf in the Wachau region of Austria. The grapes originate from mature vineyards, including parcels with vines more than 70 years old, where low yields contribute to exceptional concentration and complexity.

Fermented and aged with a focus on preserving site expression, the wine combines richness and depth with remarkable precision and freshness. Aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple, white peach, and citrus are complemented by subtle floral, nutty, and mineral notes.

On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegant, offering layered fruit flavors, vibrant acidity, and a refined texture that leads to a long, mineral-driven finish. Extended lees aging adds complexity and structure while maintaining the wine’s balance and purity.
