DurianBB D197 Musang King is the fresh pulp of the premium Malaysian durian cultivar Musang King, also known as Mao Shan Wang and officially registered as D197. The cultivar originates from the Tanah Merah district in the state of Kelantan, while DurianBB grows its fruit on its own farm in Raub, Pahang, one of Malaysia’s best-known regions for high-quality durian production.

The product is made from fruit selected from approximately 30-year-old trees. Once opened, the fresh pulp is removed from the husk and vacuum-packed on the same day at the flagship DurianBB Park outlet in Kuala Lumpur under controlled hygienic conditions. The cultivar is distinguished by its thick flesh, small, flat seeds, and intense golden-yellow color.

D197 Musang King has a thick, delicate, and exceptionally creamy texture that virtually melts in the mouth. Its complex profile combines rich sweetness, subtle savory notes, and a characteristic bitterness that lingers on the finish, accompanied by a strong yet pleasantly sweet aroma typical of ripe Musang King. It is best enjoyed fresh and slightly chilled, but not excessively cold.
