EIRA Water is a Norwegian producer of natural mineral water whose brand was launched in 2007. The water originates from the Eresfjord area in Møre og Romsdal County in western Norway. Its natural journey begins at an elevation of more than 1,500 meters, from where it travels through an untouched mountain landscape toward the source. Along the way, it is naturally filtered through an approximately nine-meter-thick layer of moraine composed of gneiss, granite, and quartz. This geological structure limits the water’s contact with soil and organic matter, contributing to its very low mineral content. The water contains only small amounts of sodium, chloride, and magnesium, while other minerals are present in trace quantities or were not detected in analyses. Its low concentration of total dissolved solids gives it a mild, neutral flavor and a soft texture. The products are bottled at the source in glass and aluminum bottles of different sizes. The production facility operates on hydroelectric power, while the company states that glass waste generated during production is recycled. The brand’s still water was named the best natural mineral water at international competitions in 2024 and 2025.
