Empordàlia is a long-standing cooperative based in the Alt Empordà region, in the far northeast of Catalonia, near the Costa Brava coastline and the French border. It was founded through the merger of several local cooperatives with the aim of preserving and promoting the traditional production of wine and olive oil, which are characteristic of this area.
