Táganan Parcela Margalagua is a single-vineyard red wine from Envínate, produced in the old Margalagua vineyard on the northeastern coast of Tenerife, an area strongly influenced by the Atlantic and defined by volcanic soils. The vineyard is planted with a field blend of indigenous varieties, including Listán Negro, Negramoll, Listán Gacho, Vijariego Negro, and Moscatel Negra, with many vines more than a century old.

Grapes are harvested by hand from steep terraced slopes, and fermentation takes place with native yeasts, often including a portion of whole clusters to preserve structure and aromatic depth. The wine is aged in neutral oak barrels, allowing the character of the site to remain at the forefront.

Aromatically, it shows layers of red cherry, raspberry, and wild berries, complemented by herbal notes, floral nuances, and a distinct mineral, slightly saline edge typical of volcanic terroir. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and fine, well-integrated tannins that provide structure without heaviness.

The style emphasizes energy and precision rather than power or extraction. The finish is long and nuanced, marked by subtle spice and smoky undertones that further express its sense of place.
