Private Selection Branco is a white wine produced by Herdade do Esporão in Portugal’s Alentejo region, made from carefully selected grapes grown in the estate’s best vineyards. The wine is primarily based on the varieties Semillon and Marsanne, which adapt well to the warm climate of Alentejo and develop rich aromatics and texture.
The grapes are hand-harvested, and fermentation takes place partly in French oak barrels, followed by aging on fine lees to enhance complexity and structure. The wine then continues to mature in oak for several months, gaining additional depth and elegance.
