Geisha Washed RW4 – Colibri-Poro 40 is a Panamanian specialty coffee of the Geisha variety, grown at Finca Sophia in Nueva Suiza near Volcán, in Chiriquí Province.

The lot underwent washed processing, in which the pulp is removed before the beans are dried. Eleven kilograms of green coffee from this lot were offered at auction. Tanat Coffee lightly roasts it for filter brewing and lists a tasting score of 92 points.

In the cup, it has a light body and a gentle yet lively citrus acidity, with notes of mandarin, nectarine, lemon candy, and bergamot. A paper-filter pour-over such as the V60 brings out the coffee’s clarity and citrus notes.
