Rea is an olive oil that carries the “Colline Salernitane” designation, which guarantees that it originates from a specific geographical area around Battipaglia. It is a blend of Rotondella, Carpellese, and Frantoio varieties, combined according to a traditional recipe, with harvesting done by hand and mechanical tools between late October and late November.
The extraction is carried out using a cold, three-phase decanter with a disk granulator, designed to preserve the aromas, nutritional elements, and freshness of the product. The oil has a yellow-green color with a fresh scent of green olives, elegant notes of apple, artichoke, and green tomato. On the palate, it is refined and complex, with dominant tones of wild chicory, almond, and grassy nuances that balance bitterness and spiciness.
The taste is balanced and provides a sensation of “elegant freshness.”
