Mingqian AAA Teji Xihu Longjing is a Chinese green tea from the Gong Pai brand, produced by Hangzhou Xihu Longjing Tea in the West Lake area of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Mingqian refers to the spring harvest before the Qingming Festival in early April, while AAA Teji denotes a special, or extra-grade, selection within the brand’s range.

It belongs to the category of pan-fired green teas, processed using a method known as chaoqing. During processing, the leaves acquire the characteristic flat shape for which Longjing is known. The early harvest designation and the quality grade describe two distinct characteristics of this product.

It is characterized by a fresh, clean aroma and a mild, rounded flavour, with a pale green infusion.
