Gueuze Tilquin à l’Ancienne is a spontaneously fermented beer - a blend of 1-, 2-, and 3-year-old lambics - with an alcohol content of 7% ABV. It is unfiltered, unpasteurized, and refermented in the bottle for at least six months.
The lambics used for blending come from renowned breweries, while fermentation and aging take place entirely at Tilquin’s facilities. Tilquin’s interpretation of the Oude Gueuze style strikes a refined balance between pronounced acidity and dryness, resulting in a beer of notable elegance and aging potential - one that becomes richer, more complex, and reveals new layers of flavor over time.
