Herdade da Maroteira is a family-owned wine estate located in the Alentejo region of Portugal, on the slopes of the Serra d’Ossa mountains near the town of Redondo. The estate has been linked to the Anglo-Portuguese Reynolds family since the mid-19th century, when Robert Reynolds began managing cork oak forests that supplied cork for the port wine industry.
