Hildon is an English producer of natural mineral water based on its namesake estate in Broughton, Hampshire. The company was founded in 1989 by Christian Heppe after he discovered an underground aquifer containing water with a stable mineral composition on the estate. The brand’s first customer was Chewton Glen Hotel in Hampshire. The water comes from a single protected source located beneath an estate covering approximately 65 hectares. Rainwater travels through the porous chalk layers of the Test Valley for approximately 50 years. During this natural process, the water is filtered and gradually enriched with minerals. It is conveyed directly from the underground aquifer to the bottling facility located on the estate. Its neutral pH and balanced mineral composition contribute to a clean taste without pronounced salty or metallic notes. In 2013, Hildon received the Chefs’ Choice Award for Best Bottled Water and subsequently won the corresponding Restaurant magazine Readers’ Choice Award for several consecutive years. The brand received a British Royal Warrant in 2017 after supplying the household of Queen Elizabeth II for several years. Hildon products are currently served in more than 20 countries.
