Horii Shichimeien is a Japanese family-run tea company based in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, specialising in the cultivation, processing, and sale of green tea. It officially dates its founding to 1879, when Matsukaze, a tea submitted by second-generation family member Fusakichi Horii, was presented at a tea exhibition in Yokohama.
