Ibn Shuaib Qatad Honey is a rare Saudi mountain honey produced from the nectar of qatad, a thorny perennial plant belonging primarily to the Astragalus genus. It originates from the Sarawat Mountains in southwestern Saudi Arabia, where qatad grows naturally on mountain slopes, in valleys, and across remote highland pastures.

The honey is obtained from mobile apiaries placed near wild qatad plants during their limited flowering season. Ibn Shuaib Apiaries supervises the production from the hive to packaging, aiming to preserve the honey’s natural composition, aroma, and enzymatic activity.

Qatad Honey typically has a light golden to amber color, a dense and smooth texture, and a distinctive floral and mildly herbal aroma. Its balanced sweetness may be accompanied by subtle caramel-like and slightly smoky notes. It can be consumed on its own or served with bread, yogurt, tahini, cheese, nuts, and traditional breakfast dishes.
