Idaia Winery is a family-owned estate located in the village of Venerato, south of Heraklion on the island of Crete, within the PDO Dafnes zone, an area with a long-standing winemaking tradition. Founded by Vassilis Laderos and Kalliopi Volitaki, the winery was developed with a focus on indigenous Cretan grape varieties and a gradual expansion based on small-scale production.
