Bradisismo Colli Berici Cabernet is a red wine from Inama Azienda Agricola, produced in the Colli Berici DOC, south of Vicenza, an area shaped by volcanic and limestone soils. The name refers to bradyseism, a geological phenomenon that characterizes the region and strongly influences the structure and expression of the wine.
The blend is based primarily on Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by a significant proportion of Carmenère, a variety that reaches notable aromatic clarity and balance in this terroir. On the nose, it shows ripe dark berries, blackcurrant and plum, layered with notes of black pepper, dried herbs, cocoa and subtle smoky nuances.
The palate is medium to full-bodied, with firm yet polished tannins, well-integrated acidity and a long, savory, spice-driven finish. Oak aging is carefully managed, supporting the wine’s structure without overwhelming the fruit or terroir expression.
Stylistically, Bradisismo leans toward an elegant, restrained interpretation reminiscent of classic Bordeaux rather than a heavily extracted modern style. It has solid aging potential, while remaining approachable in its youth.
The wine pairs particularly well with red meat, game dishes and aged cheeses, where its balance and depth come fully into focus.
