Syrah Grande Reserva is a red wine produced by the Portuguese winery Já Te Disse in the Alentejo region, made entirely from the Syrah grape variety, which develops notable aromatic intensity and structure in the warm climate of southern Portugal. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards where high sun exposure and dry conditions allow the fruit to reach full ripeness and concentration.

After fermentation under controlled temperatures, the wine ages in oak barrels, a process that contributes to its complexity and rounded texture. In the glass it shows a deep dark red color with violet reflections.

The aromatic profile reveals notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and blueberry, accompanied by hints of black pepper, spice, and subtle nuances of vanilla and cocoa derived from oak aging. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and structured, with pronounced yet well-integrated tannins balanced by a fresh acidity.

The finish is long and layered, with lingering fruit and spice notes that gradually unfold. Syrah Grande Reserva pairs well with grilled or roasted red meats, game dishes, rich meat-based sauces, and aged cheeses.

The wine represents a concentrated and expressive style of Syrah that reflects the warmth and character of the Alentejo terroir.

The winery focuses on producing wines in limited quantities, emphasizing the quality of the grapes and the authentic expression of the vineyards from southern Portugal.

The vineyards are located in the typical Alentejo landscape, where a warm and dry climate allows the grapes to reach full ripeness and develop concentrated aromas. Winemaking practices aim to preserve the natural fruit character and balance of the wines while maintaining a contemporary style.

The brand also stands out for its distinctive visual identity and playful name - “Já Te Disse” which in Portuguese translates to “I already told you”. This informal tone reflects the project’s intention to present Alentejo wines in a fresh and accessible way.
