Amber Selection Traminac Crveni is an amber wine produced by Jagunić winery in the Plešivica wine region from the aromatic Traminac Crveni (Savagnin Rosé) grape variety. The wine is made using extended skin contact, during which the grape skins remain in contact with the juice for several months, allowing the extraction of color, tannins and complex aromatic compounds.
As a result, the wine develops a deep amber or honey-golden color characteristic of this style. The aromatic profile is intense and layered, typically revealing notes of rose petals, dried apricot, candied orange peel, honey and sweet spices.
On the palate the wine is dry, structured and textured, with gentle tannins and balanced acidity that provide both freshness and depth. The style reflects a low-intervention approach in which fermentation and aging emphasize the natural expression of the grape and the Plešivica terroir.
The finish is long and aromatic, often marked by subtle balsamic and spicy nuances. Due to its structure and complexity, the wine is usually served slightly warmer than classic white wines.
Amber Selection Traminac Crveni pairs well with roasted poultry, richer fish dishes, Asian cuisine or aged cheeses.
