Janare is a contemporary wine project from Sannio Beneventano in southern Italy, created by the La Guardiense cooperative to reinterpret the region’s rich viticultural heritage through a modern, terroir-driven lens. The name draws inspiration from the janare, mythical female figures from local folklore, symbolizing a deep connection between land, tradition and natural forces.
