The company was founded by Jenny Law, who transformed her hobby of baking cookies for family and friends into a small family business, opening the first bakery in the Stanley district of Hong Kong. Thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations and the cookies' distinctive melt-in-the-mouth texture, Jenny Bakery quickly became one of Hong Kong's most recognized biscuit producers, with long queues outside its stores becoming a common sight.
